Tosha Smith, PhD
Tosha Smith holds a PhD in Nutrition Intervention and Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health. She completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in eating disorders research at the UNC School of Medicine. Currently, she is finishing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University.
It is Tosha’s honor to support clients with a strengths-based, person-centered approach. Her counseling style is relational and collaborative, sampling many modalities to offer empathetic, evidence-based care.
When not in the counseling office, you can find Tosha in one of Ithaca’s many hiking trails with her husband and kids or else in her backyard farm tending her ducks.
Areas of expertise: adults with trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, and disordered eating.
