Kate O’Sullivan

Training: Currently enrolled in Clinical Counseling Psychology (M.A.) at Saint Michael’s College

Kate brings meaningful experience from her practicum work with individuals experiencing psychosis, as well as from her role as a Resident Director at Saint Michael’s College, where she has supported college students through complex developmental, academic, and personal challenges since 2022. Her work in higher education has strengthened her ability to meet clients with steadiness, empathy, and a keen understanding of the pressures and transitions inherent to emerging adulthood.

Kate prioritizes building a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in respect, warmth, and empowerment. She is committed to helping clients strengthen self-efficacy, foster autonomy, and connect with supportive resources in their lives.

Her therapeutic orientation is rooted in a person-centered framework and thoughtfully integrates skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. Kate works with clients to clarify their values, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies to support growth and resilience.
