Jamie Sorrentino (pronouns: he/him) is a licensed clinical social worker who received his BS from Cornell University and his Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work in NYC. Jamie has worked in a range of mental health settings with diverse populations such as adolescent boys in a group home setting and rural families in a county mental health clinic. Most recently, he worked for the past 10 years with college-aged students at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Cornell University.

Jamie engages in a relational therapy approach that values authenticity, vulnerability, curiosity, collaboration, and compassionate care. As well, he utilizes evidence-based practices that pull from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practice, and Solution-Focused Therapy. His clinical interests focus on the experiences of college-aged students, sexual orientation and gender identities, disordered eating, romantic relationships, trauma, work-life balance, anxiety-related disorders, and couples counseling (Gottman approach).
