Isabella Cicconi - LMSW

Training: University of Binghamton (Master of Social Work), Mansfield University (Bachelor of Social Work) 

Isabella (she/her) received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Binghamton University’s College of Community and Public Affairs. Her professional interests include working with children, adolescents, families, young adults, and parents to build resiliency, safety, and a sense of peace within themselves and their families. Isabella specializes in a wide range of different types of trauma but specifically: domestic/intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, parental alienation, and generational trauma. Isabella utilizes a combination of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and solution-focused therapy with a trauma-informed approach to meet her clients where they are currently in their mental health journey. Additionally, Isabella specializes in parenting education as well and enjoys facilitating family sessions to help support her clients put their new skills into practice. Isabella also has experience working with neurodivergent clients, clients with intellectual disabilities, sexually acting out youth, and clients suffering from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. 

Before joining MindWell, Isabella worked with individuals and families in community mental health and has worked in the child protective service field and at an outpatient psychiatric center program. 

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys going to concerts, spending time with her two dogs, and cheering on the New York Yankees and Baltimore Ravens.
