Dr. Emilee Valler is a licensed psychologist and Director of Psychological Assessment Services at MindWell. She specializes in comprehensive evaluations for Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and related mental health concerns across the lifespan. Dr. Valler is deeply committed to supporting clients and families through a client-centered, strengths-based approach that emphasizes acceptance, awareness, and empowerment. She particularly enjoys working with individuals who are often under- or mis-diagnosed, including girls and women, gender-diverse individuals, BIPOC clients, and those seeking evaluation later in life.
Dr. Valler’s approach to assessment blends gold-standard, evidence-based methods with careful attention to each client’s lived experience. While her primary focus is psychological testing, she also brings experience in consultation with schools and medical providers, individual and group therapy, and parent support strategies. Her work incorporates principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches, with an emphasis on creating supportive, affirming, and empowering care that helps clients reach their personally defined goals.
Dr. Valler’s research has included exploring social-emotional strengths, cognitive-behavioral interventions for ADHD, and social connectedness programs for autistic children.
