Sara Johnson - Operations Director
Sara Johnson has over ten years of experience in nonprofit program management and administration in Ithaca, NY. She led community development programs, managing a job training program for individuals with barriers to employment and a nonprofit retail operation. Her experience includes program development and evaluation, grant writing, and building relationships with diverse constituents, from clients to funders, to support organizational success. She has a BS in Urban Studies and completed MA coursework in Historic Preservation Planning, both at Cornell University.
When not working, Sara enjoys reading and exploring upstate New York's parks, back roads and historic buildings. She volunteers for local historic preservation nonprofit Historic Ithaca and is a board member of Friends of Stewart Park.
