Obi

Hi, I’m Obi! I came to MindWell from a state far, far away. My main job is protecting my young padawan and teaching everyone the way of the force. I also protect my home and our offices from the evil squirrel empire. So far, I have done a good job but the yards are vast. Before I learned the way of the force, I thought I would get a chance to become a wizard but unfortunately, I never got my letter (or maybe I accidentally ate it). When I’m not working, I like to sleep in the sunshine.

Land Acknowledgment: MindWell offices are located in Ithaca, New York on the traditional homeland of the Gayogohó:no’ (Cayuga) Nation. The Gayogo̱hó:nǫɁ are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. MindWell offices are also located in Latham, New York on the traditional homeland of the Mohican Nation. The Mohicans are members of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. MindWell offices are also located in South Burlington, Vermont on the traditional homeland of the Abenaki people of the Wabanaki Confederacy. The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, and Wabanaki Confederacy all precede the establishment of MindWell, New York State and Vermont (respectively), and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó:nǫɁ, Mohican, and Wabanaki dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó:nǫɁ, Mohican, and Wabanaki people, past and present, to these lands and waters.
