Madison Kousoulas

Training: University at Albany (Ph.D. in psychology anticipated)

Madison (she/her) is a fourth-year doctoral student in School Psychology at the University at Albany and a doctoral extern at MindWell Psychology. She takes a person-first and relationship-centered approach to her work, providing holistic care that supports both the prevention of challenges and the promotion of wellbeing, resilience, and success.

Madison has extensive experience in school settings, working with elementary and middle school students from diverse backgrounds. She provides evidence-based academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support across school-wide, classroom, and individual levels, including the use of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).

Her research and clinical interests focus on fostering positive school climates that enhance students’ sense of belonging, safety, and engagement. Madison is passionate about helping children and adolescents develop meaningful connections and thrive both in and outside the classroom.
