Dr. Katie Dana (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist specially trained in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, complex trauma, and eating disorders in adults and adolescents. She also has expertise in providing interventions for OCD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and acquired brain injury. She has worked in a range of settings during her training, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, neuropsychological rehabilitation, and inpatient psychiatry.

Dr. Dana approaches therapy with a focus on collaboration with patients, flexibly applying evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of the individual. She integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more to help facilitate meaningful change and improved quality of life. She strives to provide a safe and affirming relationship with patients and prioritizes a strong therapeutic alliance in her practice.

Dr. Dana’s research has focused on prenatal exposure to trauma and malnutrition, as well as longitudinal outcomes for the exposed child. When not working, she enjoys playing music, spending time with her family, and exploring new hiking trails with her very high-maintenance dog.
