Harper Lee

Harper Lee specializes in psychoanalytic pet therapy, specifically incorporating blank slate techniques and minimal feedback. She believes her strength as a therapist lies in her ability to blink quietly and ambiguously, leaving her clients to draw their own conclusions and “find their own truths.” When not working, Harper enjoys finding clean, folded laundry to shed on, chasing sunbeams, making biscuits if she is hungry at any hour of the day, and alerting building management to any possible insect in HER house. She has dabbled in substance use treatment aimed at catnip use disorder. “It’s a process,” she states, then darted off erratically.  Also, in regards to her literary namesake, she was highly disappointed to learn that the book for which she was named after included no factual information about how to kill a mockingbird.

She comes to MindWell after providing her partner the resources and support to recover from 9 years of graduate school. “I don’t get the point of all that. Also, this belly won’t rub itself, so get to it. ” -Harper Lee
