Elizabeth Terry (She/Her) received her Masters from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Her professional interests include working with children, adolescents, families, and adults to improve upon their overall quality of life through a strength-based and inclusive approach. Within her work, Ms. Terry incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques to assist clients that are learning to cope with anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem concerns, relationship conflicts, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. She is passionate about creating a safe, relaxed and open atmosphere for clients to explore barriers in their lives that are keeping them from reaching their personal goals.

Prior to working at Mindwell, Ms. Terry spent nine years in New York City working with and overseeing programs that assist individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and on the Autism Spectrum gain access to necessary services and supports. She has spent the past 2 years in community- and school-based mental health settings serving individuals and families within Chemung County.

Originally from Illinois, Elizabeth enjoys spending her time outside of work with her husband, daughter, embracing the life of being a cat and plant lady, true crime podcasts, and sketching.
