Dr. Christina Colgary is a licensed psychologist and the Assistant Clinical Site Director for MindWell Psychology’s Albany location. She provides compassionate, collaborative therapy for clients from late adolescence through adulthood, with specialized expertise in eating disorders. Dr. Colgary takes a weight-inclusive approach to care, supporting clients of all body sizes in defining and achieving their own sense of health and well-being.
She works with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, ADHD, substance-related disorders, trauma, and mood disorders. In therapy, Dr. Colgary prioritizes building a strong, collaborative relationship, fostering hope, empowerment, self-trust, and self-compassion. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each client’s unique experiences and values.
