Dr. Amy Paysnick (she/her) is a clinical psychologist specializing in working with adolescents and emerging adults with anxiety and depression. She also has an interest in working with individuals coping with medical illness. Dr. Paysnick has experience working on multidisciplinary teams in a large, rural medical center as well as in private practice. She takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach to her work with clients, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral principles while also pulling from other evidence-based treatments (e.g., Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing). Dr. Paysnick also provides clinical supervision to clinicians in training.

When not working, Dr. Paysnick enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling to national parks, spending time with family and friends, and astrophotography.
